GESS undertook the installation of multiple mesh banners for the 'Back the Bid' campaign across prominent locations. At the ExCeL Centre, banners were mounted on a purpose-built scaffold, drawing the attention of heavy pedestrian traffic. At Devon House, banners were fixed directly onto the brickwork using rope access from the roof. In Hackney, a derelict building was transformed with five mesh banners, utilising a wire system with projection brackets. The most ambitious project involved a 9000m² banner on the dome roof, requiring 56 tonnes of steel wire and 12 abseilers over 18 days. Additionally, an impressive banner at St Pancras Train Station was installed on a tubular frame by a team of four. GESS's collaborative approach and dedication ensured the success of the 'Back the Bid' campaign.
